Supporting young people is our responsibility.
All young people deserve the opportunity to participate in sports. As proposed, the new Title IX rule says that states can't restrict or ban students from playing sports simply because they are transgender or nonbinary. That means that the 20 states around the country that currently have bans in place will be in violation of this new rule.
Starting on April 13, 2023, the U.S. Department of Education has opened is a 30-day public comment period. That means the time is NOW for us to tell them what we think. We want full and equal participation for ALL students in sports. Support trans, nonbinary, and intersex youth by joining us in saying #LetUsPlay!
