Take Action Now
For Students
We all deserve the right to play.
All trans and intersex youth deserve the right to have fun and play with their friends. Participating in sports gives young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to learn and play, be part of a team, and nurture relationships. Unfortunately, some politicians want to take away our rights. All around the country, many states are trying to ban or have already banned trans student athletes from playing on the teams where we belong.
But there’s good news: we have an opportunity now to get protection at the federal level! The Biden-Harris administration and the U.S. Department of Education are proposing new rules that will address our right to play. The new rule would make it so that students can’t be banned from playing sports just because they're trans, nonbinary, or intersex.
The time is NOW for us to tell them what we think. We want full and equal participation for ALL trans and intersex students in sports. Whether you play sports or not, this is your opportunity to tell the Department of Education to #LetUsPlay!

Right now, there's way too much negativity around trans and intersex kids - who just want to be able to play with their friends. There are big policy changes happening at the federal level, and our #LetUsPlay campaign is all about making our voices heard for trans and intersex youth and making sure the final federal regulations are as inclusive as possible.
Whether you're a trans athlete, a former trans athlete, a member of our trans community, a parent, an educator, a coach, or an ally, we want to hear from you. Everyone has a voice as we fight to protect trans and intersex youth! Upload a picture of you and tell us why you support trans and intersex kids being able to play with their friends. We'll uplift your stories on social media and on our campaign website!
